FIRST DAY OF SENIOR YEAR

Well today is the day.

My last first day of school.

I’m a senior and I still feel like a freshman.

What makes being a senior even weirder is the fact that after a year of being homeschooled and doing running start, I’m back at public school and doing running start.

I was walking around campus with my good friend before first period and I kept commenting on how different everything is and seeing that teachers I had freshman and sophomore year have retired and new ones have taken their place. And it’s only been a year. It’s so weird.

I’m excited for this year but I’m also excited for it to be over. Ya know? Everybody is like “cherish your high school experience” and I’m like naw. I’m excited to graduate, then graduate from college and do what I’m going to do with my life.

Anyways, enough talking. Here’s what I wore. I thought that the dress was a little plain so I just tied a Chambray shirt around my waist and instead of wearing sandals I opted for converse, because, well, that’s just me. And before anybody comments on my hair, it looks like that because I woke up late and my plan was to curl it but that clearly didn’t happen. Also, my cowlick is uncontrollable so, it is what it is. Hope you had a great first day back in Highschool DeLaney! Do cherish it though. My last day of Highschool… Well, lets just say it makes you miss everything about it.
