A SALAD A DAY

I don’t know about you but I get halfway through the week and realize that haven’t had a single dark green leafy vegetable. Lately that’s something I’ve been majorly slacking on. To counteract that I’m challenging myself (and in turn, you) to have one salad every day in the month of June.

Whatever salad you want, just one, filled with lots of nutrients and color. You can bulk it up by adding different types of protein and add some rice or quinoa. Play around with it, try new things (hello alfalfa sprouts!), and eat healthier one meal a day.

I am NOT a salad dressing person but recently I’ve found this brand and they are sugar free, gluten free, dairy free, soy free (mostly), and vegan. Most of them are Whole30 approved too! Like I said, I’m not a dressing person (I eat my cereal dry too if that tells you anything about me) and I LOVE this brand so far. I’ve had the Green Goddess and Lemon Garlic.

That’s my challenge. Challenge yourself to this or maybe something else and do it for a month and see what happens!
